Tattersall Distillery & Eli's East

We went to Northeast Minneapolis recently to visit Tattersall Distillery and have dinner. We arrived at Tattersall in the later afternoon and it was a pretty nice day, so the place was packed. We found a place to sit inside and waited for a server. And then we waited some more. It was really busy. John went up to the bar to order and the bartender said the drinks would be delivered to our table by a server. They arrived a short time later.
The cocktail room is very industrial and open with huge windows looking out the back and a glass garage door that can be opened in nice weather.
The server stopped back once she saw our drinks were getting low. The wait for our second round was much shorter. The place seemed like it was a tad less busy also. She also mentioned they were a bit understaffed as they were not expecting patio weather that day.

After Tattersall we were both pretty hungry. We ended up deciding to go to Eli’s East. We’ve been to Eli’s downtown, but never the Northeast location.  The inside was not busy, though the patio was somewhat full. We did find a table for two pretty easily.
John had a bacon cheeseburger.
I had the yellowfin tuna, sesame crusted, cous cous, szechuan asparagus, pickled vegetables. It was a nice light entree.

The food and service were all quite good and the patio was much nicer than I expected it to be as it was on a quieter side of the building. Eli's East was very low key and we liked it a lot.
