MN State Fair 2022

The MN State Fair in 2022 was the back to normal year apparently. Now that it has wrapped, the attendance was normal and no daily records were set. And it felt pretty much normal with weekends being pretty crowded, but weekdays not too nuts.

Our first visit was on Friday, 8/26 for the afternoon/evening
pronto pup
fresh french fries
beer sampler from MN Craft Brewers Guild
Best new food: pork schnitzel sandwich from MN Farmers Union booth
Saw Will Bauermeister at The Hanger
To kick off our second visit on 8/28: Another new food- the Tot Dog form Lulu's Public House at the West End. Very good! John had the Chicken Biscuit for breakfast.
Turkey to Go
Fry bread taco
Frappe from MN Farmers Union
local art from the Fine Arts building, art that I think Maya would create if she could paint as these are all of her favorite things
Rueben rolls from O'Gara's

Our third visit on 9/1 follows:
sweet corn
crop art
crop art
Hmong Sausage, purple rice from Union Hmong Kitchen
Grilled chicken thighs, purple rice from Union Hmong Kitchen
hot dog

Turn, Turn Turn at West End Stage

We enjoyed our three visits to the 2022 Minnesota State Fair. The weather was great and there were some great new foods this year, which I seriously hope are back again next year and for many years to come.
