Nightingale is not new, but we have never made it there before for brunch or for dinner. This is regrettable since our brunch was excellent!
I had the shrimp and grits with bacon, thyme and Worcestershire jus. The grits were perfect and the sauce made it all a savory treat. Very flavorful and delicious.
John had the classic breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, brunch potatoes and toast. John really enjoyed the toast and said it was a great French bread. We wondered where their bread comes from.
The service was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxing. It is a small place, but we did not have reservations for brunch and were seated right away. Later it did seem to get considerably busier with a short wait for tables.
