Hello to my three faithful readers! I am finally getting back to a bit of blogging. At the very least, I need to document our trips so far in 2022!
2022 brought another year of the pandemic, however we decided to take a winter trip anyway. Things in Puerto Vallarta seemed pretty well back to normal, although many locals were still masking and taking precautions on transit and inside buildings.
For our flights, we used miles on American Airlines and connected in Dallas on the way there and Chicago on the way home. Surprisingly, all of our flights went fine even though AA had had some issues before we traveled. Maybe we were lucky?
As usual we grabbed a taxi at the airport and headed to Hotel Tropicana. Check in went just fine and we even got all of the safe keys right away.

This was my 10th trip to Puerto Vallarta and John's ninth trip. Yes, I've started keeping track of this detail.
Our taxi to the airport was uneventful and our flight departed on time. We had an excellent trip overall. We hit all of our old favorites and a couple new places. We were happy to see most of our favorites weathered the pandemic well and were still there.
