We picked up carryout form Lu's sandwiches. I had been craving a bahn mi and had not had once since early this year when I was still going into work. Ya know, during the before times. Anyway, we placed our order online and everything was ready on arrival.
John had the pan-fried chicken bowl (Thit Ga Chien), which comes with green onions, pickled carrot and daikon mix, mixed greens, mint, cucumber, jalapenos, cilantro, and your choice of sauce. Choose a base of vermicelli noodles or rice. He also added an egg roll on the side. He really liked this rice bowl and said he'd order it again.I had the pock bahn mi on a fresh baguette with green onions, pickled carrot and daikon mix, jalapeños, cilantro, cucumber, pork pâté, house mayo, and soy sauce. This was a very good bahn mi and the meat and bread were great quality.
